David M. Pound is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and partner with Nobles Pound Financial Planning. He has built a financial planning practice serving individuals from various backgrounds. David believes financial planning is not one-size-fits-all, and the understanding of various financial planning concepts varies from client to client. He makes every effort to tailor financial plans and educate clients so that they can implement and understand their plan in order to achieve their short term and long term goals.
David graduated from Campbell University with a BBA in Accounting, a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Trust and Investment Management. He has also completed the Southeastern Trust School continuing education program sponsored by the Trust Education Foundation.
David splits his time working out of Wilmington, NC, and our office in Fayetteville, NC. He regularly presents educational financial planning seminars, and he has authored several articles published in the Fayetteville Observer.
David and Melanie Pound live in Wilmington, NC, with their daughter, Merritt, and son, Mason. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, kayaking and golf. An Eagle Scout himself, he serves as a committee member of Boy Scout Troop 26. The family attends Winter Park Baptist Church.
